Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0 ยท Effective 2026-08-07
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the StreamEcon Terms of Service. It exists to protect creators, viewers, third-party platforms, and StreamEcon infrastructure. You may not use the Service, directly or indirectly, for the activities below.
1. Illegal or Harmful Activity
Do not use StreamEcon to facilitate criminal conduct, credible threats, stalking, exploitation, trafficking, non-consensual intimate content, child sexual abuse material, terrorism, or other unlawful activity. Do not use the Service to encourage imminent physical harm.
2. Harassment and Abuse
Do not use StreamEcon to coordinate targeted harassment, doxxing, threats, swatting, hateful abuse, or campaigns intended to intimidate or silence individuals. Creator moderation tools may be used to protect communities, but may not be used as a vehicle for unlawful retaliation or harassment.
3. Spam, Manipulation, and Platform Abuse
Do not use StreamEcon to send unsolicited bulk messages, artificially inflate engagement, evade third-party platform rate limits, coordinate fake follows/viewers/subscriptions, manipulate metrics, mass-create accounts, or operate abusive bot networks.
4. Security Abuse
Do not distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, credential-stealing tools, phishing pages, malicious scripts, or exploit payloads. Do not attempt unauthorized access to StreamEcon, another user's workspace, connected-platform credentials, private support attachments, APIs, infrastructure, or databases.
5. Credential and Token Misuse
Do not share, sell, harvest, or misuse OAuth tokens, API secrets, browser-source tokens, passwords, invitation codes, or other credentials. If you discover credentials belonging to another person, do not use them and report the issue privately.
6. Evasion of Moderation or Enforcement
Do not use StreamEcon to evade bans, suspensions, platform enforcement, legal restrictions, or account-security controls. Do not intentionally re-create banned accounts or integrations for the purpose of bypassing third-party enforcement.
7. Intellectual Property and Privacy
Do not use the Service to infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, confidentiality obligations, or other proprietary rights. Do not upload private information you lack authority to process.
8. Deceptive Conduct and Fraud
Do not impersonate StreamEcon staff, misrepresent affiliation, conduct scams, solicit credentials under false pretenses, falsify payment/donation events, manipulate viewers through fraudulent claims, or use the Service to facilitate financial fraud.
9. Resource Abuse
Do not intentionally overload the Service, create excessive automated requests, abuse APIs, repeatedly reconnect integrations to generate unnecessary traffic, circumvent quotas, or perform stress/load testing without written authorization.
10. Prohibited Content in Public Features
Do not publish illegal content through public workspace pages, overlays, chat commands, or other public-facing features. You are responsible for content configured by your workspace and for complying with the policies of streaming platforms on which that content appears.
11. Moderation Automation
Automated banned-word, timeout, ban, delete-message, and role-management features must be configured responsibly. StreamEcon may suspend automation that is malfunctioning, causing widespread unintended actions, or creating an operational or compliance risk.
12. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, preserve relevant logs, rate-limit features, suspend integrations, disable automation, restrict accounts, revoke invitations, or terminate access. We may report conduct to a third-party platform or lawful authority where appropriate or required.
13. Reporting Abuse
Report abuse or security concerns to support@streamecon.com. Do not include sensitive credentials in the report.
