This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the StreamEcon Terms of Service. It protects creators, viewers, the platforms StreamEcon connects to, and the Service itself. It applies to everything done through your account and workspaces, including by members you add and by automations, chat commands, webhooks, API tokens and remote control keys you set up.
1. Illegal and Harmful Activity
Do not use StreamEcon for anything illegal, or to promote, plan or carry out violence, threats, stalking, exploitation, human trafficking, terrorism or violent extremism. Never use it in connection with child sexual abuse material or the sexualization of minors, or to share intimate images without consent.
2. Harassment, Hate and Doxxing
Do not use StreamEcon (including StreamEconBot, chat commands, alerts, overlays, wheels or public pages) to harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone; to attack people based on protected characteristics; to reveal anyone's private information (doxxing); to encourage swatting or brigading of other channels; or to retaliate against viewers. Moderation tools are for protecting your community, not for abuse.
3. Follow the Rules of Connected Platforms
Your use of StreamEcon on Twitch must follow the Twitch Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and the same applies to every other platform you connect. In particular, do not use StreamEcon for view-botting, follow-botting, fake engagement or other metric manipulation, to evade a Twitch suspension or ban, or to send chat messages outside your own channel or that Twitch would treat as spam.
4. Spam and Bulk Messaging
Do not use StreamEcon to send unsolicited bulk messages, repetitive or deceptive chat messages, or webhook traffic to destinations that did not ask for it.
5. Honest Events and Fair Promotions
Do not present simulated or test events (from the Event Simulator or manual events) as real support to deceive viewers or sponsors. Do not falsify tips, donations, subscriptions or totals. Run giveaways, raffles, wheels and contests honestly and in line with the law and platform rules: do not run an illegal lottery or gambling game, do not require payment where the law forbids it, and deliver what you promise.
6. Viewer Information
Use viewer information (usernames, chat messages, activity, support history) only to run and moderate your stream and community. Do not sell it, publish lists of viewers' private details, combine it with other sources to identify or track people, use it to contact viewers outside your channel without their consent, or keep exporting it to other systems without a lawful basis.
7. Accounts and Sign-Up
Do not create accounts automatically or in bulk, with throwaway e-mail addresses or someone else's identity, or to get around a suspension, a limit or a ban. Do not sell, share or trade accounts, invitations or access.
8. Credentials and Keys
Do not share, sell, harvest or misuse passwords, connected-platform tokens, webhook secrets, API tokens, remote control keys or private overlay links. If you come across someone else's credentials, do not use them; report them privately to support@streamecon.com.
9. Security and Integrity of the Service
Do not attempt to access another workspace or account without permission, test or probe the Service's security, bypass authentication, rate limits or other controls, upload malware or malicious scripts, interfere with other users' streams, or reverse engineer the Service except as the law expressly allows. See the Terms for how to report a security issue in good faith.
10. Fair Use of Resources
Do not overload the Service: no excessive automated requests, scraping, load or stress tests, rapid repeated reconnecting of integrations, automations that loop on themselves, or tricks to get around quotas.
11. Content You Publish
Do not use alerts, overlays, media uploads, chat commands, public pages or other features to publish content that is illegal, infringes others' rights (see the Copyright Policy), is sexually explicit where the platform does not allow it, or breaks the rules of the platform where it is shown.
12. Deception and Fraud
Do not impersonate StreamEcon, Twitch or other people or brands, claim to be affiliated with StreamEcon when you are not, run scams, phishing or fake giveaways, or ask anyone for passwords or payment details through StreamEcon.
13. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, keep relevant records, remove content, limit or rate-limit features, turn off automations or integrations, block sign-ups, and suspend or terminate accounts and workspaces, depending on how serious the issue is. Where appropriate we will tell you and give you a chance to fix it first; for serious or urgent risks we may act immediately. We may report illegal activity to authorities and violations of a platform's rules to that platform.
14. Reporting
Report abuse, a security issue or a violation of this AUP to support@streamecon.com or through the Contact page. Please do not include passwords or other credentials in a report.
