StreamEcon respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This Policy explains creators' responsibilities and how to report content on StreamEcon that you believe infringes your rights. It is part of the Terms of Service.
1. Your Responsibility for Content
You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, configure or display through StreamEcon, including alert images, sounds and videos, overlay artwork, fonts, logos, text, chat command responses and links. Connecting a third-party service does not give you rights you would not otherwise have.
2. Music and Now Playing
Now Playing only displays information about a track (such as title, artist and artwork). It does not give you permission to play the music on stream. You are solely responsible for the music and other media your production setup captures or broadcasts, and for any licences it needs. StreamEcon does not provide music licences or any permission from artists, labels, publishers, collecting societies or streaming services, and does not protect you from takedowns or claims on Twitch or anywhere else.
3. Content of Connected Platforms
Names, avatars, emotes, badges and other material shown from Twitch or other platforms belong to their owners and are shown under those platforms' rules. Twitch is a trademark of Twitch Interactive, Inc.; other names and logos belong to their owners. Their use on StreamEcon describes compatibility and does not mean endorsement.
4. StreamEcon's Own Material
The StreamEcon name, logo, software, interface designs, documentation and other original material are owned by StreamEcon or its licensors. You may not copy them, or use them in a way that suggests affiliation with or endorsement by StreamEcon, without our written permission, except as the law allows.
5. Reporting Infringement (Takedown Notices)
If you believe content available through StreamEcon infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@streamecon.com with the subject "Copyright notice" that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner;
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
- where the material is on StreamEcon (for example the overlay or public page address and what appears there), in enough detail for us to find it;
- your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
When we receive a complete notice, we will remove or disable access to the material where appropriate and tell the person who posted it.
6. Counter-Notices
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to support@streamecon.com that includes: your physical or electronic signature; a description of the material that was removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where StreamEcon may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice. We may then forward the counter-notice to that person and restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless they tell us they have filed a court action.
7. False Claims
Do not send a notice or counter-notice you know to be false. Anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation may be liable for damages under applicable law, including 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
8. Repeat Infringers
We will disable or terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe others' intellectual property.
9. Trademarks and Other Rights
Reports about trademarks, publicity rights or other intellectual property can be sent to support@streamecon.com with enough detail for us to understand and evaluate them.
