Cookie Policy

Version 2.0 · Effective 2026-10-17

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage StreamEcon uses. StreamEcon uses them to sign you in, keep the Service secure and remember your preferences. It does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics.

1. What Cookies and Browser Storage Are

Cookies are small pieces of text a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Local storage and session storage are similar features that keep small amounts of data in your browser for a page to read.

2. Cookies StreamEcon Sets

  • streamecon_session (strictly necessary): keeps you signed in during a visit and holds security values such as the anti-forgery (CSRF) token. Deleted when you sign out or close your browser, or kept for 30 days if you choose "Keep me signed in".
  • streamecon_remember (strictly necessary, only if you choose "Keep me signed in"): a random token that restores your sign-in for up to 30 days. It is not your password. Signing out, changing your password, deactivating or deleting your account revokes it.

3. Browser Storage

  • Appearance and interface preferences (local storage): your theme and similar display choices, and settings such as whether a dashboard plays sounds and how loud, so pages look right before they finish loading.
  • One-time messages (session storage): short notices shown after an action (for example "restored"), removed as soon as they are shown.

4. Cookies Set by Others

  • Cloudflare protects the website and may set strictly necessary security cookies (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to tell people from bots. If sign-up uses Cloudflare Turnstile, it runs a similar check.
  • Twitch: pages that embed a Twitch player, and Twitch's own sign-in page when you connect Twitch, are governed by Twitch's cookie policy.
  • Google Fonts serves our fonts. It does not set cookies, but your browser contacts Google's servers to download them (see the Privacy Policy).

StreamEcon does not control cookies set by others.

5. Overlays and Browser Sources

Overlays loaded in OBS or another broadcasting tool authenticate with the private link itself, not with cookies.

6. Your Choices

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Because StreamEcon only uses cookies that are needed for the Service, blocking them will stop you from signing in or using your dashboard, and clearing browser storage resets your display preferences. If StreamEcon ever adds optional cookies, such as analytics, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent where the law requires.

7. Changes

We will update this Policy when we change the cookies or storage we use. The version and effective date are shown at the top of the page.
