Automations

When something happens on stream, run actions across your tools.

Automations connect your tools: when something happens, if conditions match, then run actions. For example: when someone gifts 5 or more subs, add 10 minutes to the timer, play an alert and post a thank-you in chat.

They're optional. Rules you set inside each tool keep working on their own.

Create an automation

  1. Choose New Automation and pick the trigger, such as gifted subs, Bits, a raid or a Channel Points reward.
  2. Add conditions if needed, for example amount at least 5, or only while live. No conditions means it always runs.
  3. Add actions. They run top to bottom; drag to reorder, and choose whether a failed action stops the rest.
  4. Use Test or set it to Dry run first. A dry run records what it would do without doing it.

Built-in safety

Every automation has limits that prevent loops and floods: cooldowns, a maximum number of runs and checks that one automation can't endlessly trigger another. StreamEcon warns you when a new automation overlaps an existing one.

The Execution Log shows every run step by step. Each event's trace in Creator Events also shows which automations ran.
