Live Control and remote keys

One-tap buttons for a second screen, a tablet or a Stream Deck.

Live Control is a deck of buttons you press during your stream, such as add 5 minutes, skip an alert, spin a wheel, start a giveaway or post a message. It's made for a second screen or a tablet.

Set it up

  1. Choose New Control, name the button and add the actions it runs.
  2. Add a confirmation or cooldown for buttons you don't want pressed by accident.
  3. Group buttons, and use profiles for different kinds of stream.

Stream Deck and other apps (remote keys)

Under Remote keys you can create a key for an app that can send web requests, such as a Stream Deck plug-in or Bitfocus Companion.

  1. Create a key and copy its URL. It's shown only once.
  2. In your app, add a web request action that calls the URL for the button you want.

Remote presses keep each button's cooldown and confirmation rules and show in Live Control's history as "Remote: key name". Each key allows up to 120 requests a minute.

Treat keys like passwords

Anyone with a key can press your buttons. Revoke a key straight away if it leaks.
