Getting started
From a new account to your first stream with StreamEcon, step by step.
StreamEcon runs your stream tools from one place: timers, wheels, alerts, chat tools, goals and automations all react to the same Twitch events. This is the shortest path from a new account to your first stream.
Set up in six steps
- Create your account. Sign up, then open the link in the verification e-mail. The link works for 24 hours.
- Name your workspace. Your workspace holds your channel's settings, tools and history. Its name and address are what viewers see on your public page.
- Connect Twitch. In Connection Center, sign in with the Twitch account you stream from. See Connect Twitch.
- Follow Initial Setup. Initial Setup walks through the rest and shows what is still missing. You can skip a step and come back later.
- Turn on the tools you want. Start small, for example the Timer, Event Alerts and Chat Commands. Everything is under All Creator Tools.
- Add overlays to OBS. Each on-stream tool has a link you paste into an OBS browser source. See Add overlays to OBS.
Open Health & Setup. It checks your Twitch connection, the chat bot and each tool in one list.
How the pieces fit
When something happens on your channel (a follow, a gifted sub, Bits, a raid, a tip) StreamEcon receives it once and every tool that cares reacts: the Timer adds time, an alert plays, a goal moves, the bot thanks the person in chat. You decide what each tool does with an event in that tool's settings, or across tools in Automations.
Every event is listed in Creator Events with what it triggered, so you can always check what happened.
Getting help while you work
The Help button at the top of every page opens the article for that page. If you get stuck, contact support; you can follow the conversation in your support tickets.
