Safe Mode
Pause alerts and hold effects when something goes wrong on stream.
Safe Mode is your emergency stop, for example during a hate raid or when something misfires. It pauses alerts and holds new effects until you decide what to do with them.
What happens in Safe Mode
- Alerts pause. Event Alerts, Quick Alerts, wheel spins, timer additions, multipliers and automation triggers are held instead of running.
- Automations triggered by viewers are skipped.
- Twitch events, Creator Events, analytics and goal totals keep updating as normal.
- Chat Notifications and raid shoutouts are not held.
Turn it on and off
- Turn on Safe Mode from Safe Mode or a Live Control button.
- Review the held items. Release the ones you want and discard the rest.
- Turn Safe Mode off. Everything goes back to normal.
